E3 Power Center Southwest

The E³ Power Center Southwest serves youth ages 14-21 seeking to improve their skills and work toward long-term goals.  The center is designed to create a comprehensive system of service delivery for youth that galvanizes the resources, knowledge and expertise of citywide systems and community based organizations to work in a cohesive way to benefit Philadelphia’s youth.

 

E³ signifies the programs focus on the following three Es:  educational services, employment readiness and placement services, and empowerment. 

 

Young people are prepared for post secondary opportunities through:

  • GED
  • Literacy supports
  • Tutoring services
  • High school diploma options
  • Assistance with financial aid applications and searches
  • College visits

 

Young people are intentionally prepared for successful careers through:

  • Job readiness training
  • Supported internships
  • Community service
  • Service learning opportunities
  • Job searches
  • Placement supports

 

Young people are given additional life skills support through:

  • 21st Century Skills Development workshops
  • Financial Literacy
  • Self Care and Prevention
  • Parent Education
  • Anger Management and Conflict Resolution
