E3 Power Center

Description

CISP was awarded a contract to run the Southwest E3 Power Center. The E3 Center offers skill-building experiences for out of school youth, youth returning from juvenile delinquent placement and other disconnected youth that are grounded in youth development theory and practices. E3 stands for Education, Employment and Empowerment. The Center's service delivery structure is designed to help youth achieve long-term goals through four pathways: education, occupational skills, life skills, and employment.

The Center serves youth ages 14-21 seeking improved skills and work toward long-term goals. Youth may be referred to one of the Centers or find a Center on his or her own. The Centers have two primary populations: young people who have left high school and have not earned a high school diploma or GED and targeted court-involved youth who are returning from delinquent placement facilitates and are mandated or volunteer to seek reintegration services. Each center is designed to serve a minimum of 270 youth annually.
