Volunteer and service leaders from around the world gathered July 16-18 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia at the American Promise Alliance’s National Conference on Volunteering and Service. This year’s theme was the “Power of We.”

Sponsored by the Points of Light Foundation and the Corporation for National and Community Service, the conference included more than 2,600 representatives from the nonprofit, government and business sectors, all dedicated to improving communities through service and volunteering.

Tiana Posey, Philadelphia Freedom Schools JSL, was a presenter at the conference.
