CAREER ACADEMIES (formerly known as Small Learning Communities, SLC) are "schools within a school" of 250-500 students scheduled together and taught by a common corps of teachers. Each Career Academy has an approved school-to-career theme. Using established curricula and brokering community resources into the classroom, CISP administers 2 Career Academies which give students the academic and career experiences needed to make successful transition from high school to the world of work.
