JOB DEVELOPER
SUMMARY:
The Job Devloper is a CISP Central Office, exempt position in the Workforce Development Department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Formulate employment relationships within the business and nonprofit community.
- Prepare students and employees for internships and employment opportunities.
- Develop and structure workreadiness workshops, including service learning opportunities.
- Conduct workshops and presentations, including identifying and scheduling outside presenters
- Coordinate worksight monitoring and support for student placements.
- Conduct employer training and worksite safety assessements.
- Research industry trends, effective job search strategies, and best practice in workreadiness preparedness.
- Assist with student recruitment
- Complete all required reports
- Use data to make data driven decisions
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Experience working with adolescents and adults
- Extensive job placement experience
- Knowledge of the employment activities workready curriculum
- Excellent telephone skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of community resources
- Familiarity with basic Mac and PC hardware and basic software applications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years documented job placement experience
