JOB DEVELOPER

SUMMARY:

The Job Devloper is a CISP Central Office, exempt position in the Workforce Development Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Formulate employment relationships within the business and nonprofit community. 
• Prepare students and employees for internships and employment opportunities.
• Develop and structure workreadiness workshops, including service learning opportunities.
• Conduct workshops and presentations, including identifying and scheduling outside presenters
• Coordinate worksight monitoring and support for student placements. 
• Conduct employer training and worksite safety assessements.
• Research industry trends, effective job search strategies, and best practice in workreadiness preparedness.
• Assist with student recruitment
• Complete all required reports
• Use data to make data driven decisions
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Experience working with adolescents and adults
• Extensive job placement experience
• Knowledge of the employment activities workready curriculum
• Excellent telephone skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of community resources
• Familiarity with basic Mac and PC hardware and basic software applications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Three years documented job placement experience
