Saturday School
Saturday School allows students to earn credits for previously failed major courses, and choose from a variety of electives, including courses in life skills, as well as innovative offerings. Service Learning Opportunities are also available for students to earn credits through approved community service activities.
Qualified juniors and seniors who participate in CISP’s work-based learning programs receiveboth academic credit and a paycheck. Students work at an approved place of employment, receiving mentoring from their job supervisor and acquiring valuable employment skills. The Youthworks component enables students to earn academic credit during the summer while employed at one of numerous community sites, thus gaining valuable work experience while contributing to their community and earning credit toward graduation.
The Saturday School Program is located at Benjamin Franklin High School
