After School Enrichment Academy
Since 2001, the School District of Philadelphia and Communities In Schools of Philadelphia, Inc. (CISP) have partnered to manage the After School Enrichment Academy (ASEA). The program provides out of school time services to include after school and summer enrichment camp programming to underserved inner city elementary and middle school aged children and youth. The program targets at-risk youth with services and community resources to increase the safety of program participants and prevent their involvement with harmful behaviors that might jeopardize their futures. Students are offered engaging activities during the hours when they might otherwise be unsupervised.
